I took up photography as a more serious hobby in 2006 after moving to a new city, as a way to document and explore my new home as I discovered it. Over time, my subject shifted to first myself then others. As my creative community grew I connected with more and more people who were kind enough to let me document a moment of their lives, capturing their own creative expression and experiences as a human. I’ve learned so many lessons about life and about photography as a craft through this work, and am largely self-taught. Below is a selection of photographs I’ve made over the last 15 years that showcase the kind of photography I am most focused on producing right now, but please feel free to inquire as to my experience in live events and concerts, food and product photography, and beyond; I’d be happy to discuss your project and compile a small portfolio of relevant work.
